Quilt detail
The layered and cut technique of this quilt really appealed to me. It reminds me of mola, a traditional Panamanian fabric technique that uses layers of fabric in reverse appliqué. I saw some wonderful examples of mola at a recent show at the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles.
